Microsoft will allow developers to publish apps for Kinect on the Windows Store

Microsoft just announced the release of the final version of Kinect for Windows SDK 2.0 v2. With this version, which Microsoft includes more than 200 enhancementsspecifically highlights the possibility for developers to upload their applications for Kinect on the Windows Store, the Microsoft app store , as the company announced on its official blog .
With this measure, Microsoft could generate increased interest from application developers, which could increase the number of apps created for a device like Kinect because until now it was not possible to create and market applications for Kinect through the Windows Store . With this change, both Microsoft and developers are benefited. Initially, the second version of Kinect was created for use with the Xbox One console, but due to lack of interest by users, Microsoft has been forced to also offer an adapter to support Kinect as an accessory for PC, an area where this device could generate more interest . Especially when you consider the amount of applications that some developers have experienced, such as improving the practice of climbing .
Microsoft announced that it will market this adapter for 49.99 euros, so that either version of Kinnect for Xbox One and the subsequent PC version will work the same way.
