Alexander Ljung, founder and CEO of SoundCloud said they expect to generate significant revenue for Warner and its artists through advertising that integrate into your portal.
SoundCloud lost $ 29 million in 2013, so it is clear that they will have to alter the way they work in order to survive in a world dominated by rdio, spotify, deezer, itunes and google play (among others). Joining the big boys in this market seems to be the only solution to get significant income.
