Tumblr, Tumblelogs publishing service owned by Yahoo!, is starting to offer a new experience of playing videos either through their website or through their native mobile applications available for Android and iOS.

With regard to native mobile applications, provided that you are under a connection via WiFi, now the videos play automatically, but yes, with the audio muted, but by simply tapping on the speaker button, the audio will start to be available. Also, Tumblr has taken a basic feature of Vine, loop playback of videos, so that given the same circumstances, the videos will be played continuously. Who knows if this step is motivated by the need to increase the counting of displays to offer to advertisers.
