Without wanting to replace the application hangouts (which is compatible with SMS), and offering the ability to manage separately received messages in mobile, Google officially launches Messenger for android, now available on Google Play .
Allows sharing audio and video, block numbers, search content and send and receive messages in a pleasant way, unmixed conversations with those received in google chat, which many prefer.
And replaces the existing SMS application in mobile and allows having an independent evolution to Google Hangouts, which helps to better separate functionality.
The application already appeared in social networks on October 15 , but only now appears in google play, but google has not yet published any official press release explaining why they have decided to separate tools.
