Google is working on Copresence, it would be a direct competitor to Apple's AirDrop

Will Google working on developing a similar system for Apple AirDrop? There is evidence to suggest this, where in addition, they point to also will support iOS devices, not just Android devices. Under this new system, which is under the internal name of Copresence would be possible to share files, messages, addresses, music, and more between devices. To this end, this new system would work on Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct networks to offer transfers.
It should be noted that the evidence found inside the APK of the new update of Google Play Services, as noted by one informant who visualized the internal code of the APK, echoing both Android Police as Aeris Tech. In this APK is a series of images related Copresence configuration and integration, and there are also XML definitions for various designs of the configuration process. There is also evidence of a Chrome Copresence API documentation available for developers. This Android Police informant says that this feature would be available in the next few weeks, without being specific.
No further information on this service is not known, nor for the availability or more details, leaving another to wait for more information on it, or a sudden occurrence, Google surprised us with its release. In any case, Copresence be the direct competitor to Apple's AirDrop also support for iOS devices.
