Firefox Developer Edition Now Available, web browser developers


To coincide with the tenth anniversary of the release of Firefox 1.0, bringing competition and innovation on the web in a market then stalled, under the objective to help web developers improve their workflow to the diversity of environments development for the creation of content and applications for different online stores, Mozilla has finally launched its browser specifically aimed at developers: Firefox Developer Edition , as I discussed a few weeks ago.
In this regard, Mozilla says the same as the first web browser developed specifically for developers, which becomes a development tool designed for simplifying the work tackling projects for the desktop web, mobile, or both. Firefox Developer Edition stands out not only have a web browser that her usual darker design, in line with many development applications focused on creativity, but also by the inclusion of a number of extra features for developers: Valence and WebIDE .
Valence, formerly Adapter Firefox Tools, aims to connect development tools for Firefox to other search engines, providing support for the moment the engines of Chrome for Android and iOS Safari, although the intention is to support other search engines according to the needs that suing developers. WebIDE allows the use of OS Firefox create applications based on templates, considering that such applications are web applications, so that also work on other platforms. Besides these features, Firefox Tools Adapter also features adaptive design mode, Inspector pages, Web Console, JavaScript debugger, Network Monitor, Editor of hours of unique audio editor and audio editor to the web.
Mozilla is very clear that is the only independent organization focused on the development of a dedicated web browser, available as open source and independent of any proprietary ecosystem, given the autonomy they need to enhance the experience on the web, regardless of the platforms and devices.
Developer Edition replaces the Firefox Aurora channel, which is located between the Nightly channel, and the Beta channel Mozilla, except in the area of ​​Android, where there will be changes.
