5BY rethinks its mobile applications to make them more social


Since we did echo 5BY , platform recommendation video which was acquired in September 2013 by StumbleUpon, since earlier this year launched its mobile app for Android and iOS platforms, which like in its desktop version, the recommendations will be based on the time of day and other factors to select those users themselves, as their moods
5BY just rethink their mobile applications in the search for a more social approach, with the idea that users have it easier when you find videos and create discussions based on them without leaving the app.
The new update features a new design, which was also incorporated a search option, allowing search videos available through YouTube and other platforms such as VICE, Tribeca Enterprise, DEFY Media, Mashable and although the list of partners will continue to increase in the coming weeks. Likewise, it has added the ability to share video among users, one by one, and even chat groups of up to twelve members.Finally, Daily 5 is another new feature that will provide a list of recommendations of the five most watched videos making use of their own technology recommendations, which is patent pending.
Hoping to become a one stop shop for all things online video now 5BY should have to have a critical mass of users, taking advantage of the growing use of smart mobile devices by users. New versions for Android and iOS and can be obtained through their respective app markets.
